Open your lyric sheets on iPhone and iPad
SongV is a viewer for the lyric sheets you build in
TextA, our Mac app.
It keeps your lyrics and chords with you, and is designed to be read
while you play.
Finding a song
- Jump through the artist list by kana row and by character
- Artist search ignores differences between hiragana, katakana, case and voiced marks
- Filter to favorite artists only, or to songs that actually have lyrics
- Mark songs and show only the marked ones
Reading and playing
- Set the lyric font size between 12 and 48 pt, remembered per song
- Transpose the chords up or down a semitone at a time
- Hide the commands under the song title to give the lyrics more room
- Build set lists and reorder the songs inside them
Adding and organizing
- Import lyric files stored on your device (
.songv/.txt) - Type lyrics by hand to create a new sheet
- Export the current lyrics as TXT or SongV format and share them — transposition included
- Tidy up artist names and kana rows, and merge artists that exist only inside lyrics
The “?” button on each screen explains what the buttons currently on screen do.
About the beta
SongV is not on the App Store yet.
It is currently being tested through TestFlight.
Please note: the app’s interface is in Japanese only.
Joining the beta requires the TestFlight app for iPhone / iPad.
To report a problem, use TestFlight’s feedback feature or the support option inside the app.
